WELDING INSTRUCTOR

Turn Your Welding Experience Into the Next Generation's Skills. Mon Valley Career & Technology Center is seeking an experienced Welding Instructor to prepare high school students for careers in welding, fabrication, and manufacturing. What You'll Do Teach hands-on MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Cored welding Instruct students in fabrication, cutting, blueprint reading, layout, measurement, and welding safety Share real-world industry skills and workplace expectations Prepare students for industry certifications, employment, and apprenticeships Work in a newly renovated welding facility Build relationships with local employers and industry partners Requirements Minimum of four (4) years of relevant industry experience Pennsylvania Vocational Certification or willingness to obtain certification Strong hands-on welding, fabrication, and manufacturing skills Commitment to safety, quality, and craftsmanship Ability to effectively communicate and work with high school students Ability to obtain and maintain current required background clearances Current résumé Industry certifications are preferred but not required Teaching experience is NOT required. Experienced welders interested in transitioning into teaching are encouraged to apply. 183 day Schedule, Holidays off. Pay:

$50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
