Your mission Plan and perform tests using the correct instruments by interpreting test schedules, work orders, manuals, performance specs, and schematics Conduct receiving, in‑process, and final inspections per drawings and specifications Author, maintain, and train colleagues on quality documentation within the

Own document control for manuals, procedures, work instructions, non‑conformances, inspection reports, and related records Lead training activities and ensure records are generated and stored per procedure Investigate customer/supplier concerns, determine dispositions, and document outcomes Partner with engineering, production, and supplier quality; assist with internal and supplier audits Manage calibration equipment and support device database oversight Contribute wherever needed—other duties as assigned What sets you up for success 2+ years in manufacturing and 3+ years of direct inspection experience Mastery of common inspection tools; confident reading technical drawings/specs Experience with MRP (ideally SAP) and Microsoft Outlook/Word/Excel Organized, communicative, analytical, self‑directed, and team‑minded Preferred extras Fabrication, weld inspection, and NDE exposure Salesforce experience Portable CMM proficiency Steel mill or foundry background High school diploma or GED required; technical schooling in machining, measurement, analysis, lab work, or casting/foundry preferred Tools, systems, and standards AutoCAD; CMM; calipers and micrometers Quality control software; SAP AS9100 and
