Job Description
About SinterNova SinterNova is an early-stage advanced manufacturing startup developing a novel process to recover degraded PA12 powder from industrial SLS 3D printing through a solvent-free, continuous-flow process. We're seeking an experienced Polymer Materials & Validation Advisor to help guide our proof-of-concept testing and material characterization efforts. Responsibilities Advise on polymer characterization and validation strategy Review GPC, DSC, rheology, and related test results Assist with Design of Experiments (DOE) planning Help interpret material behavior and processing results Provide technical guidance during the Digital Build and POC phases Preferred Qualifications M.S. or Ph.D. in Polymer Science, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience) Experience with engineering thermoplastics (PA12, PA11, Nylon, or similar preferred) Hands-on experience with GPC, DSC, rheology, thermal analysis, or polymer characterization Background in polymer processing, extrusion, compounding, or additive manufacturing is a plus Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Position Details Part-time consulting role Flexible schedule Hourly compensation based on experience Opportunity to contribute to an innovative materials technology from the ground up
