This position is part of a team tasked with goals of maximizing safety, quality, and productivity with the casting team. Responsibilities Coordinate metallurgy activities with fellow metallurgists, engineers, and shift supervisors Work with operators to teach steelmaking processes and provide technical support Statistical analysis of process and operator feedback Provide continuous product and process improvement Evaluate new process technologies Coordinate with suppliers and optimize cost Assist with coordination of
