Basic Qualifications:

A minimum of a High School diploma or GED equivalency is required. Currently pursuing a Mechanical, Chemical, or Materials Engineering degree from an accredited institution Students must have completed 3 semesters of undergraduate education prior to entering the program. Must be involved in at least 1 extracurricular activity or prior work experience. 3.0+ grade point average Must be able to provide documentation in the original form establishing both your identity and your employment eligibility in the U.S. This position entails access to export-controlled items you must be able to lawfully obtain access to such items.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior internship or work experience in manufacturing. Casting or Metal fabrication experience preferred. Strong communication skills. Support manufacturing in the processing of castings through all operations. Work concurrently with customers to design components for castability. Maintain customer relationships through joint resolution of issues. Work closely with mentor on learning how to manage the responsibilities listed below. Maintain and improve casting scrap rates. Maintain and improve casting rework rates. Improve casting profitability through cost reductions. Develop and refine manufacturing work instructions. Develop casting processes for new products.
