Job Description :
Support development of medical device products with work including writing or verifying specifications; designing new products and fixtures; testing processes and equipment; and specifying raw materials to ensure the concepts and/or prototypes meet their requirements.
Job duties:
+ Develop new product concepts and products. + Provide engineering design and process development. + Generate intellectual property; write invention disclosures. + Supervise Assemblers, Technicians, and Specialists. + Largely self-directed and capable of meeting project goals with moderate supervision. + Some travel required. + Comply with applicable Laws and Regulations, adhere to Quality Management System processes and requirements as well as demonstrate Ethics and Integrity in all matters and at all levels throughout the organization. + Perform additional duties as assigned.

  • Qualifications:
  • 1. Bachelor's degree in engineering or Scientific field. 2. Minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience. 3. Strong written and verbal communication skills. 4. Proficient computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and CAD (SolidWorks or PRO/E proficiency required).

Advanced degree in Engineering or Scientific field. 2. Design and development of medical devices. 3. Ability to read and prepare technical documentation. 4. Knowledge of standard machine shop equipment, processes, and medical device manufacturing equipment. 5. Knowledge of medical device and technical development. 6. Working knowledge of materials used in the medical device industry. 7. Experience from Engineering internship or rotation program preferred. 8. One (1) year of Manufacturing experience preferred.
