Job Description

Suspension Direct, Inc. (SDi) is a leader in suspension and chassis innovation for automotive and offroad applications. As a one-stop shop for suspension components, we support customers with expert technical staff and a commitment to helping them get the most from their UTVs, motorcycles, and vehicles. We are expanding our team of skilled engineers and seeking a candidate with mechanical engineering and product development experience in automotive suspension systems.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in automotive suspension systems who can work independently and collaborate effectively with our engineering team. This role contributes to multidisciplinary engineering projects from initial R&D through production. We believe in leads that see projects all the way to the finish. Success in this position requires proficiency in SolidWorks and up-to-date knowledge of drafting standards and sheet metal is a plus.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Design innovative mechanical parts and assembly. Design innovative hydraulic systems. Design tools / methods to improve production time, errors and costs. Run extensive dynamometers tests on shock absorbers and suspension systems. Must be able to work on vehicle suspension systems, and test drive vehicles. Manufacture and test prototypes. Work on standard compliance. Collect and analyze test data using advanced mathematical methods and tools. Manage tasks and projects compliant within company standards.
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
