Equipment Engineer WaveCrest Staffing Group - 3.4 Pasadena, CA Job Details Temp-to-hire | Contract $40 - $50 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Project engineering Technical documentation Mechanical Engineering Machine troubleshooting Industrial equipment troubleshooting Bachelor's degree in engineering Cleanroom experience Technical troubleshooting support Productivity software Electrical Engineering Mechanical troubleshooting Full Job Description We're seeking an Equipment Engineer to support the operation and maintenance of advanced semiconductor and nanofabrication equipment in a cleanroom environment.

Onsite Pay:
$40-$50/hr
Type:
6-month contract, potential extension/conversion
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5
PM Start:
ASAP Duties:
Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and vacuum systems. Support dry etch, deposition, metrology, and other semiconductor equipment . Diagnose equipment issues using schematics and technical documentation. Coordinate vendor repairs and document maintenance activities. Assist with equipment installation, commissioning, and testing . Develop SOPs, maintenance plans, and troubleshooting documentation. Maintain equipment records and provide technical training to lab users.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering, or related field. 2+ years of hands-on experience with semiconductor, vacuum, scientific, or similar technical equipment. Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Experience with vacuum systems and precision equipment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office . Comfortable working independently in a cleanroom environment .
Preferred:
Dry Etch, Metrology, Lithography, or Wet Process experience. AutoCAD or SolidWorks experience. UHV vacuum systems and leak detection experience. Project engineering or project management experience.
