Job Description

Description:
EPC Power is looking to add an electrical engineer to our engineering team. In this role you will work on a growing test team, supporting current development engineering testing. You will be involved in engineering testing, PMFA, and circuit design projects. After training and becoming familiar with EPC products, you will be an integral part of the engineering test team. You will have opportunities to contribute to new product development, customer requests, engineering testing, engineering/manufacturing automation and troubleshooting.
Requirements:
Develop & execute test procedures to test mechanical/electrical components. Select proper wire size and components based on ampacity and voltage requirements. Thermal/Electrical/Software feature testing of products, including cooling systems (air/liquid), inverter components, inverter controls Troubleshoot/root cause mechanical failures in production/RMA equipment. Participate in design development and validation activities. Participate in documentation for manuals, processes, ECOs, and procedures. Support production and customers on an as-needed basis, both directly and through our customer support team. HALT & life cycle testing on current/new products. Document test results & prepare reports . Occasional travel may be required (<10%).
Requirements:
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering 3+ years of experience using lab equipment - oscilloscopes, DMM, function generators, power supplies, DAQ Creating wiring diagrams using AutoCAD Electrical Hands on experience testing electrical systems Experience writing documentation and procedure
Preferred:
