Full Job Description Equipment Engineering Technician Location:

Newbury Park, CA (Thousand Oaks area)•fully on-site

Duration:

6 month contract with potential extensions/permanent conversion

Schedule:

•Back end: Wed-Fri every other Saturday (more urgent) 5:30am-5:35pm•Front end: Sun-Tues every other Wednesday 5:30am-5:35pm

Pay Range:

$25•33/hr

Required Skills & Experience:

Associate degree in Electronics Technology (or similar discipline), or a HS diploma with equivalent years of experience. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a production and/or electronics or mechanical, fast paced environment Experience with common hand tools as well as various electronic instruments Ability to lift heavy objects, such as pumps during removal and installation Must pass respiratory protection medical surveillance examination Must have in depth knowledge, understanding, and support of manufacturing process

Job Description:

Insight Global is looking for a hands-on technician to join the Newbury Park Equipment Engineering Team supporting the Fab and Final Process areas. The technician dismantles, adjusts, repairs, and assembles equipment according to schematics, blueprints, drawings, and operating or repair manuals. Performs preventive and routine maintenance and repairs on semiconductor manufacturing equipment following work instructions and manufacturer manuals. Follow processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions to all production equipment in a specific area. Perform electrical/mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical production equipment used in the Fab.

Pay:

$25.00•$33.00 per hour
