Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a Tooling Engineer to support the design, development, and implementation of manufacturing tooling for a complex aerospace production environment. In this role, you will design and release tooling solutions that improve production efficiency, safety, quality, and hardware handling throughout the manufacturing process. Responsibilities include creating CAD models and engineering drawings, developing assembly fixtures and material handling equipment, managing tooling projects from concept through deployment, supporting fabrication and procurement activities, and resolving technical challenges through root cause analysis and corrective actions. The ideal candidate has experience with tooling design, mechanical systems, CAD modeling, and manufacturing processes, along with a strong understanding of GD&T, design for manufacturability, and engineering fundamentals. Success in this role requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and close collaboration with manufacturing, production, and engineering teams to deliver practical, reliable tooling solutions that support production goals.

Compensation:

$70.00
