Job Description

Mechanical Design Job Description Adjuvo Technologies is looking for an energetic mechanical engineering intern that is eager to become part of a growing business in the training and simulation industry. The position will primarily entail mechanical design and reverse engineering of tactical equipment to be used in training systems for Military and Commercial customers. The role may have some wiring and light electrical design duties. Individual must be willing to contribute to overall company success and at times be willing to support other duties outside of the design role. Mechanical Engineer Intern Job Duties Review and incorporate Redlines and product improvement feedback into existing design documentation Develops products and designs based on input and direction from the program team and other engineers Work with quality and manufacturing departments to help aid in the development of new manufacturing capabilities and approaches Assist in the development of full documentation packages for design products to support manufacturing and customer integration support Work with subcontractors to support manufacturing efforts and manufacturing process selection Ability and willingness to support manufacturing with light assembly and manufacturing tasks Mechanical Engineer Intern Skills and Qualifications Must be fully capable in Solid Works 2022 or newer to develop mechanical designs and documentation Should be knowledgeable in ANSI drawing standards and requirements Should have experience in Mechanical design and/or working on engineering degree Ability to understand how design impacts manufacturing costs and product quality Should be able to work independently with direction and with other engineers Is comfortable working in a fast pace, small business environment Has hands on experience in assembly and fabrication processes Knows and understands a broad array of materials and manufacturing processes
