As a Design Engineer, you'll support product development with CAD modeling, drafting, and engineering documentation that powers safe, reliable, and manufacturable designs. Design Agricultural Engineer responsibilities Prepare layouts, 3D CAD models, drawings, sketches, and diagrams to support Design Engineers and product teams. Create and process print revisions, modifications, and ECNs for release and product support. Update and maintain CAD drawing databases and engineering data within the MRP system. Create and maintain engineering documents, standards, and BOM‑related outputs. Support field service, testing, and validation activities as needed. Produce daily/weekly/monthly progress reports for the Design Engineering Supervisor. Design Agricultural Engineer qualifications Actively enrolled in or completed an accredited engineering or engineering technology program (e.g., CAD Design, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Ag Systems Technology). Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor or comparable solid‑modeling CAD tools. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong written, presentation, verbal, and phone communication skills. Ability to provide references and recommendations from academic advisors and/or prior employers or mentors. Design Agricultural Engineer physical requirements Ability to sit for extended periods. Visual acuity to see details at a distance; distinguish colors, shades, and brightness. Fine motor skills to grasp and manipulate small components. Auditory focus to distinguish and prioritize sounds. Quick hand/foot reactions and accurate depth perception.
