Position Overview We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the development, testing, and validation of engine components and mechanical systems for a global leader in heavy equipment and power solutions. This role will focus on planning, executing, and analyzing validation testing while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to improve product performance, reliability, and quality. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on testing experience, strong analytical skills, and a solid understanding of mechanical systems, engines, and data acquisition technologies. Key Responsibilities Plan, develop, execute, and manage mechanical validation and development tests. Analyze test data and provide engineering recommendations based on results. Investigate equipment and component failures and support root cause analysis activities. Utilize data acquisition systems and instrumentation to collect and evaluate test results. Prepare technical reports and effectively communicate findings to engineering stakeholders. Collaborate with design, simulation, and testing teams to support product development goals. Support prototype hardware development, test setup, instrumentation, and validation activities. Coordinate project activities while ensuring adherence to engineering standards and timelines. Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, specifications, and technical documentation. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to testing processes and product quality. Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering. 4+ years of mechanical testing, validation, or product development experience. Understanding of internal combustion engines, mechanical systems, or heavy machinery. Experience working with engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience with vibration analysis, structural dynamics, or NVH testing. Familiarity with data acquisition systems such as eDAQ, LMS, or cDAQ. Experience performing stress, strain, or modal testing. Knowledge of engineering analysis and validation methodologies.
