$55/hr Our client in Palatine, Illinois is seeking a Test Engineer to join their team on a contract basis.
Responsibilities:
  • Develops procedures and protocols for testing electronic devices.
  • Creates comprehensive test plans based on project requirements.
  • Performs thermal data collection and analysis to support continuous improvement
  • Designs, procures, and fabricates electromechanical automated test fixtures to support continuous improvement and new product development.
  • Execute Environmental stress testing
  • Conducts validation and verification testing of electronics and software.
  • Ability to perform component-level debugging of electronic devices, SMT soldering rework, and programming of internal PCBs as required.
Experience/Skills:
  • Ability to troubleshoot and analyze circuit diagrams.
  • Ability to define problems, interpret data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions by applying logical or scientific thinking principles
  • Ability to read, record, interpret, and/or create technical data and documents required.
  • Ability to read and interpret CAD technical documentation relating to products and processes, and utilize the full range of mechanical, electronic, and software development equipment and systems.
  • Ability to take initiative and be a self-starter. Work with minimal supervision and have a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to function as a team player and work constructively and cooperatively with all departments in the interests of the business.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal), including excellent interpersonal skills This position is eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision
