Position Summary Ultra Maritime is seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer II that will have a primary focus of supporting sonobuoy production and design. This role will be responsible for ensuring product conformance to qualified designs as well as monitoring and improving product performance. The role will provide support to the design engineering and production operations teams through the following responsibilities: Job Description Identify appropriate materials and process to ensure the quality, performance, and manufacturability of products. Create, interpret, review and maintain engineering documentation (Prints, Specifications, etc.) Evaluate design and manufacturing processes through analysis and test Perform root cause and corrective action analysis on returned hardware Support supplier quality and manufacturing with DfM and troubleshooting Foster technical collaboration across multiple engineering disciplines and across business functions Write reports and present technical content at peer and design reviews
