Are you passionate about mechanical design, robotics, and creating innovative solutions for modern manufacturing? ATTC Automation is looking for an entry-level Mechanical Engineer who's eager to gain hands-on experience designing robotic automation cells, welding fixtures, and custom manufacturing equipment. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career engineer to turn engineering concepts into real-world solutions. You'll work alongside experienced professionals, develop practical designs using 3D CAD technology, and see your projects come to life—from initial concept and design through fabrication, assembly, and testing. What You'll Do Design and develop 3D models, robotic cell layouts, mechanical assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings. Help create custom welding fixtures, tooling, guarding, and mechanical components for robotic automation systems. Work alongside experienced engineers to evaluate robot reach, part accessibility, equipment layouts, and manufacturability. Turn customer requirements and engineering concepts into practical designs that can be built and used in production. Collaborate with fabrication, assembly, and engineering teams to refine designs and solve real-world manufacturing challenges. Get hands-on experience troubleshooting mechanical fit and functionality during equipment builds, testing, and startup. Participate in design reviews and maintain accurate engineering drawings and documentation throughout each project. What We're Looking For A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Graduating students are encouraged to apply! Working knowledge of 3D CAD software and engineering drawings through coursework, internships, or personal projects. A foundational understanding of mechanical design, manufacturing processes, and engineering principles. A creative problem-solver who enjoys turning ideas into functional designs. Strong attention to detail and an eagerness to learn through hands-on engineering experience. Someone who enjoys collaborating with engineers, fabricators, and other technical professionals to bring projects to completion.
Bonus Points:
