Job Description

Job Summary:
Responsible for creating drawings that exhibit the detail and method of assembly for a variety of machinery and mechanical devices.
Primary Responsibilities:
Using Solidworks develop detailed designs for mechanical equipment and controls. Provide details on component descriptions. Resolve design problems. Review and analyze specifications. Compute mathematical formulas to develop and design detailed specifications for component or machinery. Draft technical details. Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures. Design the parts of a machine. Consult technical handbooks and tables while in drafting phase. Explain design details to manufacturers. Prepare engineering drawings that detail plans and specifications. Prepare engineering drawings for sales concepts. Abilities Strong attention to detail Familiarity with drafting concepts/standards CAD experience required, Solidworks experience is preferred Working as part of a team Confidence to contribute new ideas Inert Corporation is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
