In this role, you will be working as a Mechanical Engineer for a client that works in the custom machinery industry. This position will be responsible for design and engineering support for manufacturing of heavy equipment and machinery. This position is a contract to possible hire role that is a long term need for my client. This role must be worked on-site. Pay; $80,000-$90,000/Yr. Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering 2-5 + years of experience with mechanical design - understanding of large equipment, custom machinery etc.. Solidworks experience Analysis experience with Solidworks Simulation is preferred Experience doing design and analysis on new mechanical systems and subsystems Conduct feasibility studies to determine functionality and reliability Capital equipment experience - able to do design of heavy structures including tooling, material selection and fabrication Evaluate and recommend design changes when needed Maintain documentation throughout project phases Knowledge of military standards #VIS
