Job Description Our client, a global product design and technology company, is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their team! This will be a onsite role working out of their office in Needham. The successful candidate will have strong system-level thinking and reporting skills.

Contract Role:

1 month

Pay:

$44.50/hr on W2

Responsibilities:

Research and prove technical viability for early-stage roadmap projects before formal product definition. Provide functional options and insights to cross-functional teams to guide product development. Operate with a high degree of independence while maintaining alignment through daily project management check-ins. Build functional proofs of concept quickly by repurposing and modifying existing product components with creative problem-solving..

Required Qualifications:

Apply strong thermal and heat transfer principles alongside system-level thinking to identify interactions and resolve issues. Ability to design and execute tests using electro-mechanical tools, then analyze the results to determine next steps Operate independently with minimal oversight while clearly reporting progress through written and verbal updates.
