Job Description

Adecco is hiring a Engineer in Stoughton MA! This is an opportunity to join a growing team!
Shift:
1st Shift, Monday
  • Friday Pay:
    $100,000
  • $125,000/year depending on experience
Location:
Stoughton, MA Job Duties:
  • Lead mechanical design and development of new medical and rehabilitation products
  • Create SolidWorks designs and 3D models
  • Develop prototypes and perform hands-on troubleshooting
  • Design and work with mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies
  • Design test fixtures and engineering test methods
  • Perform life-cycle, performance, thermal, and validation testing
  • Identify and implement design improvements to existing products
  • Conduct root-cause analysis and develop corrective actions
  • Support manufacturing transfer and design-for-manufacturing activities
  • Work directly with suppliers and contract manufacturers
  • Develop and maintain engineering documentation within an
ISO 13485
environment
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, sales, service, suppliers, and outside testing partners
  • Take ownership of projects from initial concept through production and customer delivery
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience designing and commercializing physical products
  • Highly proficient in SolidWorks
  • Experience taking products from design through prototype and production
  • Strong hands-on problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and make sound engineering decisions
  • Comfortable working directly with manufacturing teams and suppliers
  • Medical device experience is a plus
  • Experience with servo systems, force measurement, load cells, biomechanics instrumentation, ECAD/Altium, contract manufacturers, or
ISO 13485
is a plus
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
