Our client, a developer of cutting-edge power technologies, is looking for an Electronic Hardware Engineer to join their growing team. In this position, you'll be working with a variety of PCBs to create new design solutions for next-generation needs. This is an opportunity to gain next-level hardware development skills by working with senior-level engineers to create innovative solutions. The company is an established firm that has made a significant investment in this technology and the resources to develop it. Responsibilities of theElectronic Hardware Engineer:
Evaluate component choices for replacement in existing designs Select replacement parts Develop schematics covering assigned areas of responsibility and lead PCB Layout Review circuit layout and release to fabrication Debug prototype circuit cards and verify correct operation Perform Design verification tests and execute and document results Perform testing in environmental chambers Create Engineering Change notification documentation for review Participate as a team member on development projects and team meetings Qualifications BSEE with 2+ years of experience in circuit design and layout. Experience with both analog and digital hardware, including simulations (Pspice, PSIM, etc.) Knowledge of PCB layout software such as Allegro, Altium, etc. Solid knowledge of board components, with the ability to develop multiple options, consider alternatives, etc. for PCB development. FPGA experience is a plus. Solid communication skills, with a proven ability to work without strict oversight.Similar remote jobs
