1+ year contract with strong likelihood for extensionsWe are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead hardware development for advanced satellite communications products from concept through production.
ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop electromechanical hardware systemsPerform CAD design, FEA, CFD, and thermal analysesDevelop production-ready drawings using GD&Ttesting, validation, and design verification activitiesDrive design for manufacturability and cost optimizationCollaborate with electrical, RF, manufacturing, and supply chain teamsSupport products throughout the full lifecycleQualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field5+ years of mechanical engineering experienceCAD proficiency (Creo, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, etc.)Experience with FEA, CFD, GD&T, and tolerance analysisHardware testing and validation experiencePreferredSatellite communications experienceRF hardware or antenna systemsElectronic packagingEMI/EMC considerationsManufacturing and NPI experience Medical, dental, and vision insurance are available to qualified candidates who meet eligibility requirements.
