Job Description
Job Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION
The person in this role will support the Powertrain Testing department's objective to ensure testing readiness.
What you'll be doing
Test Execution:
engine, powertrain, or vehicle chassis dynamometers and emission analyzers.
Compliance Validation:
Verify test results against Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) and certification procedures (such as FTP, HWFE, and US06).
Data Analysis:
Analyze emission outputs, particulate matter (PM), and fuel economy data to optimize engine performance.
Troubleshooting:
Diagnose equipment or vehicle anomalies in controlled test cells and environmental chambers
Support on site teams to ensure facilities are supporting current and new activities.

Requirements
Requirements:
Technical Knowledge:
Understanding of propulsion systems, CFR Emission Testing Requirements
Software/Tools:
Proficiency with data acquisition tools (Panel 4, ETAS or Hiroki) and modeling platforms
Professional Engineering License (PE)
Proficiency in reading electrical and mechanical prints
Education:
Bachelor's degree in engineering.
