Applications Engineer General - Upper Body Roof Design & Release 5 years of experience as a BIW Upper Body/Roof Structures Design & Release Engineer. Working experience with CATIA V5/V6 and/or 3DX CAD along with Teamcenter. Experience designing, developing and releasing automotive sheet-metal components from concept through production. The engineer will lead design-engineering activities from pre-program through launch. Position 2.Product Engineer General - Exterior/Interior 3+ years of automotive Body Interior/Exterior experience. CATIA V5, GD&T, Teamcenter, Vis Mockup. The Fit to Nominal Engineer (FtN) will validate the Fit and Finish deck received from VAST, identify part-to-part coordination and exterior/interior quality issues within product design by measuring margin and flushness, use perceived quality audits to confirm part-to-part compliance, and assist with launch events including DCV, TT, PP, MP1 and MP2. Position 3. Product Engineer Body - Lighting System 5+ years of experience in the design, development or launch of automotive lighting or similar components. CAD capability with CATIA, 3DX and Teamcenter, plus familiarity with CAE tools and software. The Exterior Lighting Engineer is responsible for the integrity, evolution and in-house design ownership of systems such as headlamps, taillamps, CHMSL, fog lamps and license-plate lamps. Position 4. Product Engineer Body - Closure System 2+ years of engineering experience in the design, development or launch of automotive mechanisms. Experience with automotive latching systems such as side-door latching and tailgate/liftgate latches, and automotive product design and release for body closures, seat mechanisms or seat structures. CATIA, 3DX and Teamcenter. The HLM D&R Engineer will work on handles, locks and mechanisms for doors, hoods, frunks, tailgates, liftgates and decklids, including handles, latches, locks, strikers, hinges, door checks and manual or powered mechanisms. Position 7.Product Engineer Body - Closure System 2+ years of experience related to body closures, specifically side-door assemblies and related opening and closing actions. Responsible for component release for closure components such as door structures, hinges and check arms throughout the program lifecycle, including concept design, supplier engagement, BOM management, systems requirements, simulation analysis, prototype builds, validation testing and production support. CATIA, 3DX and Teamcenter. Position 8. Product Engineer Body - Closures 5+ years of experience developing closure systems including doors, hoods, liftgates and tailgates, with exposure to writing technical specifications. CATIA V5, Teamcenter and Vis Mockup. Rear Closures Core Engineering and Subject Matter Expert role responsible for developing and releasing technical requirements and strategies for moving rear closures and working with internal and external customers to establish engineering requirements that meet customer performance expectations.
