DUTIES:

Responsible for ensuring early product designs meet service requirements in their responsible commodities. Assess future product designs and identify and address non-compliance via design changes. Transfer applicable product knowledge to downstream stakeholders, including technical documentation authors, technical training and contact center personnel. Responsible for Serviceability of the Chassis commodity. Navigate CAD and interface with 3D models. Reduce Chassis part complexity using data to identify parts/systems that can be used to reduce warehouse inventory. Identify and influence Chassis design changes through business case analysis related to repair cost efficiencies, Team Center review and path planning studies. Interface with Chassis engineering and program management on service design issues. Perform program vehicle serviceability assessments. Perform competitive vehicle assessments recording "best" and "worst" practices from a repair efficient standpoint.
