Job Summary:

We are seeking highly motivated emerging talent to participate in a 9-week immersive internship program from October 19th to December 11th 2026. This program offers university and graduate students hands-on experience through project-based work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Throughout the program, Interns will have exposure to mentorship, networking, and professional development opportunities. The Mechanical Engineering internship for Strategic Systems will participate in a project involving component mechanical engineering for components of a roll control system (RCS).

Responsibilities:

Conduct SolidWorks tasks including entry level mechanical design, drawings, data management, and creation of toolbox features Assist in performing integrating and collecting engineering data for basic lab-based testing Ability to machine and fabricate simple prototype test components Assist engineering personnel in creating PowerPoint presentations, engineering test data reduction using Excel, writing reports using

Word Requirements:

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; junior standing by fall 2026 Strong verbal and written communication skills Experience with SolidWorks, Ansys, and Microsoft Office tools Working knowledge of mathematical and statistical principles and formulas Basic knowledge of mechanical systems Ability to travel for in-person orientation and program kickoff as well as for final presentation at program completion

Hourly Pay Range:

$23.50-$30.00 per hour
