Professional Qualifications:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology At least three years of professional experience in mechanical design Proficiency in 3D modeling via SolidWorks and 2D drafting using AutoCAD Background in fluid handling components such as valves, strainers, fittings, PVF, piping, and pressure vessels Capability to produce comprehensive engineering layouts, assemblies, P&IDs, BOMs, and technical drawings Familiarity with various material types including stainless steel, carbon steel, and alloys Experience managing item masters and BOMs within ERP/MRP software environments Ability to conduct and validate critical engineering design computations Familiarity with industry codes such as ASME, API, ASTM, and PIP Background in machining, welding, fabrication, or general manufacturing processes Strong interpersonal abilities to facilitate effective cross-departmental communication and problem-solving U.S. Citizenship is mandatory to comply with export control regulations
Your Impact:
The successful applicant will manage mechanical design initiatives from start to finish. You will be responsible for translating client requirements into functional designs, assisting with manufacturing and quoting processes, and working closely with internal teams including Sales, Quality, Purchasing, and Manufacturing, as well as external vendors and clients.
