Position:
Fulltime onsite at OEMs, Marysville, Ohio Location Immediate JoinerMain Responsibilities & Tasks:
o Development of Design Concepts based on project direction guidance from OEM o CAD Activities in CATIA V5 and V6 o Evaluation and Open Item Closure o Creation of Layouts o Styling Feasibility with LA Studio o 3D Modeling o Drawing Creation to OEMs standards using latest software systems oCATIA V5
will be primary CAD program used thru Die Go o Supporting Document Creation o Cost Estimation & Analysis of Supplier Quotes o Evaluation Attendance & C/M creation and response (e.g. Gap and flushness, IQS, Wiring & Piping, etc)Requirements:
o PSC to be on-site full time at OEM, Ohio location and act as PIC and window person to LTTS Near Shore and Offshore PSCs o Offshore PSC workload and responsibilities to be managed by Onsite PSC o Must understand the OEM development flow:- Overall project schedule
- General understanding of the expectations at each milestone
- Working knowledge of OEM development systems o High Level of CATIA V5 and V6 capability o Ability to work with and negotiate with styling, suppliers, and factory to support OEMs best interests and best practices o Understanding of part/assembly cost drivers and design methods to achieve development targets.
