Job Description

Senior Automotive Software Test Engineer responsible for developing and executing validation strategies for AI-driven vehicle software systems with a focus on performance, reliability, and safety. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering 8+ years of automotive software testing experience U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Experience with automotive software validation and test methodologies Experience with data pipelines and analytics tools used in automotive software validation Hands-on experience with testing and measurement tools such as: dSPACE CANoe CANape DIVA Open Test Proficiency with scripting languages used for test automation and diagnostics, including: JavaScript Python CAPL Experience with test coverage analysis Experience with defect tracking and quality metrics Preferred Skills ISTQB certification IREB certification Experience testing AI-driven or intelligent vehicle software systems Experience developing automated automotive test frameworks Experience validating embedded automotive software and vehicle communication systems Job Responsibilities Develop and lead software testing strategies for AI-driven automotive systems. Plan and execute validation activities for intelligent vehicle technologies. Develop automated test scripts using JavaScript, Python, and CAPL. Perform software testing and diagnostics using dSPACE, CANoe, CANape, DIVA, Open Test, and related tools. Analyze test coverage and identify gaps in validation activities. Track software defects and evaluate defect-related performance metrics. Validate software performance, reliability, and safety against defined requirements. Analyze automotive software data pipelines and validation results. Develop and maintain test plans, test procedures, test cases, and validation documentation. Coordinate software validation activities across engineering and testing functions. Support defect investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action validation.
Pay:
