Job Description

Systems Design Engineer We are seeking an experienced Systems Design Engineer to design and develop power, motion, and control systems for custom industrial machinery and test equipment. Responsibilities Design power, control, and hydraulic systems for custom industrial machinery and test stands using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and related tools. Perform hydraulic pressure, flow, and sizing calculations; select valves, pumps, cylinders, manifolds, proportional, and servo controls. Manage multiple projects, ensuring schedules, quality, and customer requirements are met. Validate designs through testing and provide technical support for installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer training. Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, controls, software, and manufacturing teams. Prepare drawings, BOMs, engineering documentation, and technical reports. Travel to customer sites as needed. Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 5+ years of experience designing hydraulic power and motion-control systems for industrial machinery or automation. Proficiency in SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD. Strong knowledge of hydraulic circuit design, component selection, and system sizing. Experience with proportional and servo hydraulic controls. Knowledge of PLCs and closed-loop control systems. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, hydraulic schematics, and technical specifications. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, project management, and communication skills.

Pay:
$105,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
