Join a dynamic and collaborative team in the Fleet Reactor Mechanical organization at the Naval Nuclear Laboratory, where you'll join a group of dedicated mechanical engineers supporting the operation of FORD and NIMITZ-class aircraft carriers, SEAWOLF-class submarines, operating prototype reactors and future surface platforms through reactor core and heavy equipment analysis. Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in a related technical, engineering or science field; or Masters degree from an accredited college or university in a related technical, engineering or science field. Preferred Skills Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline (or current enrollment with expected graduation within the next 12 months.) Coursework or project experience using finite element analysis tools such as ABAQUS, ANSYS, or similar software.
