As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will serve as a technical leader and trusted advisor for mechanical design projects. Key Responsibilities Lead the development of mechanical engineering solutions for industrial and manufacturing facilities
Apply extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering codes, standards, and best practices
Perform mechanical and piping system design
Complete engineering calculations, including HVAC equipment selection and pipe sizing
Develop P&IDs and Block Flow Diagrams
Establish design criteria and technical specifications for projects
Prepare equipment and system specifications
Provide quality review and oversight of mechanical designs prepared by team members
Serve as the primary mechanical engineering contact for project managers, clients, and multidisciplinary design teams
Mentor and train junior engineers and designers
Coordinate project requirements with civil, structural, electrical, and process engineering teams
Develop engineering labor estimates for proposals and project planning

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
10+ years of mechanical engineering experience with heavy industrial, manufacturing, process, or similar facilities
Professional Engineering License (P.E.) required
Strong working knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards, including ANSI, ASME, IBC, ISO, and NFPA
Experience performing mechanical system design and engineering calculations
Proficiency with mechanical engineering design software
Demonstrated experience leading project teams and coordinating multidisciplinary engineering efforts
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Ability to conduct field investigations and site visits
