We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Power/Distribution Transformer Engineer to lead the design, analysis, and management of power and distribution transformers within our electrical systems. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive innovative system solutions, oversee complex projects, and ensure the reliable delivery of electrical infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical engineering, system design, and project management, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality results. Duties Lead the design and development of power and distribution transformers, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications. Utilize AutoCAD, MicroStation, and CAD software to create detailed schematics, layouts, and system diagrams for transformer projects. Manage project schedules from conception through commissioning, coordinating resources and timelines effectively. Conduct system analysis using MATLAB and other simulation tools to optimize transformer performance and reliability. Collaborate with mechanical engineers to integrate mechanical knowledge into transformer design and construction processes. Oversee construction activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and technical requirements. Develop and review GIS (Geographic Information System) data related to transformer locations for system planning and maintenance. Prepare technical reports, schematics, and documentation supporting project execution and system engineering efforts. Engage in systems engineering activities to ensure seamless integration of transformers within broader electrical networks. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus. Proven experience in power or distribution transformer design, system design, or related engineering roles. Strong proficiency with AutoCAD, MicroStation, MATLAB, CAD software, and GIS tools. Knowledge of project scheduling techniques and project management principles for large-scale electrical projects . Mechanical knowledge relevant to transformer construction and maintenance is highly desirable. Familiarity with construction practices related to electrical infrastructure development. Understanding of systems engineering processes for complex electrical systems integration.
Pay:
$120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
