B.E./B.Tech/Master's in Mechanical Engineering Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Static Engineer with strong expertise in the design and engineering of pressure vessels and shell & tube heat exchangers . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with mechanical design calculations, ASME Section VIII standards, CAD software, and fabrication drawings. Key Responsibilities Design and engineer pressure vessels and shell & tube heat exchangers. Review and interpret technical specifications, client requirements, and engineering standards. Perform detailed mechanical design calculations for various equipment components. Develop equipment designs and models using SolidWorks and AutoCAD . Prepare and release detailed fabrication drawings for the fabrication shop. Ensure designs comply with applicable ASME Section VIII codes and standards. Select appropriate materials based on design requirements and fabrication considerations. Support design optimization while maintaining quality, safety, and code compliance. Coordinate with fabrication teams to resolve technical queries, material substitutions, and design changes. Work directly with clients and international stakeholders to understand project requirements. Adapt to client-specific standards, specifications, and procedures. Lead and mentor team members to ensure timely and accurate project delivery. Review engineering deliverables for quality, accuracy, and compliance. Required Skills 5-7 years of relevant Mechanical/Static Equipment Engineering experience. Strong experience in pressure vessel design and engineering . Experience with shell & tube heat exchanger design . Strong knowledge of ASME Section VIII . Experience with CodeCalc or similar pressure vessel design/calculation software. Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD . Experience preparing fabrication and engineering drawings. Knowledge of material selection, fabrication processes, and design optimization. Ability to perform detailed engineering calculations. Strong communication and client-facing skills. Ability to work effectively with engineering and fabrication teams.
Pay:
$60.00 - $63.00 per hour
