Job Description
The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a contracted, school-based placement in Cranston, RI for the 26/27 school year ! This is a full -time private duty/1:1 role supporting a local K-12 district with nursing services. Working with The Stepping Stones Group means consistent pay, clinical backing from experienced nurses, and support from a team that understands school-based nursing - not just staffing.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Active CNA Certification BLS CPR Certification Pediatric and school experience preferred Demonstrated competency in the specific skills required for the assigned student including: Pediatric diabetic management Strong critical thinking skills Strong assessment and critical thinking skills Ability to work independently MUST demonstrate reliability, punctuality and accountability
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Provide all 1:1 support for students with needs ranging from developmental, behavioral, or physical disabilities, or medically fragile students Implement care plans as directed by school nurse Assist with adaptive equipment and assistive devices Document care and communicate with school teams
