Description:

We are seeking a Staff Accountant with a strong foundation in accounting and experience working in a manufacturing environment to join our finance team in Cranston, RI. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working with numbers, digging into financial data, and partnering with operational teams. The Staff Accountant will play an important role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting the month-end close, and providing accounting support across the organization. Key Responsibilities Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities Maintain general ledger and fixed asset records Analyze financial results and investigate variances Support inventory and manufacturing accounting Prepare schedules and reports for treasury and financial reporting Assist with audits, tax filings, and compliance activities Maintain accurate accounting documentation and internal controls Participate in ERP initiatives and accounting process improvements Work closely with Finance and Operations teams to support business objectives Perform other accounting and financial analysis activities as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required 3+ years of accounting experience Manufacturing experience required Experience working with ERP systems Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel Solid understanding of general accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial reporting Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail and organization Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills Team-oriented approach with an interest in continuous improvement What Youll Bring The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented accounting professional who can work independently while collaborating effectively with Finance and Operations.
