This position will work on equipment improvements, automation projects, troubleshooting, and new equipment installations. You will spend time on the production floor working directly with Production and Maintenance to solve problems and improve equipment reliability and efficiency. Recent engineering graduates with good academic records are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities

• Design and implement improvements to production equipment and mechanical systems.
• Manage projects from design and fabrication through installation and startup.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and help identify and correct root causes.
• Work with Production and Maintenance to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve productivity.
• Design equipment, tooling, fixtures, and mechanical components using 3D CAD.
• Work with PLCs, sensors, robotics, conveyors, and other automation equipment.
• Perform engineering calculations and basic Finite Element Analysis when needed.
• Assist with the selection and installation of new equipment.
• Work with equipment manufacturers, contractors, and integrators.
• Maintain drawings and equipment documentation.
• Train Production and Maintenance employees on new or modified equipment. Qualifications Required
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in working directly with manufacturing equipment and production processes.
• Ability to read and create mechanical drawings and equipment layouts.
• Ability to work with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering personnel.
• Ability to manage several projects and priorities at the same time. Preferred Experience in one or more of the following areas is helpful but not required:
• SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software.
• Pneumatic or hydraulic systems.
• PLCs, robotics, conveyors, or automated material handling.
• Equipment installation and startup.
• Project management and planning.
• Foam, plastics, recycling, textiles, composites, or other manufacturing processes.
• Working with equipment manufacturers, integrators, and contractors. Benefits
