You will spearhead the design, implementation, and optimization of critical systems, ensuring that our infrastructure meets rigorous safety and performance standards while delivering high-impact engineering solutions. Responsibilities Provide expert technical oversight for daily manufacturing and chemical operations to ensure peak equipment reliability. Lead the full lifecycle of capital projects, from initial design and specification to final commissioning and qualification. Utilize advanced Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to validate equipment designs and optimize process efficiency. Drive innovation by identifying and integrating new materials and processing technologies to solve complex industrial challenges. Coordinate cross-functional teams to manage project budgets, schedules, and risk mitigation strategies effectively. Develop and present high-level technical documentation and strategic proposals to stakeholders and regulatory bodies. Qualifications Required Skills Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline. 10+ years of professional engineering experience within heavy industrial, refinery, or chemical manufacturing sectors. Demonstrated expertise in project leadership, including scope development and budget management. Strong working knowledge of ASME codes and regulatory compliance standards. Preferred Skills Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, or AutoDesk. Advanced experience with ANSYS or similar simulation tools for structural analysis. Active PMP certification or equivalent project management credential. Proven track record of troubleshooting large-scale mechanical systems in high-stakes environments.
