We design, install, inspect, and service fire sprinklers, fire alarms, and life safety systems for commercial, industrial, and residential facilities. Position Summary Red Hawk Fire Protection is seeking an Entry-Level Project Engineer / Design Trainee to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone beginning a career in construction management, engineering, or fire protection design. You will receive hands-on training while working alongside experienced project managers, designers, and sales professionals to help coordinate projects from design through completion. This role offers the opportunity to develop technical knowledge, project coordination skills, customer service experience, and an understanding of fire protection systems while building a career path toward Project Management, Design, or Estimating. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Assist with project coordination, scheduling, and documentation Learn fire sprinkler design principles and industry standards (NFPA) Support project managers and designers throughout the project lifecycle Help prepare project documentation, reports, submittals, and closeout packages Coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal departments Learn AutoCAD, AutoSPRINK, and other industry software Participate in jobsite visits and project surveys Assist with estimating, permitting, and project setup Maintain organized project files and ensure quality and accuracy Develop strong communication and customer service skills Goals for the
