Immediate Role Overview We are looking for an experienced AutoCAD Drafter for a short-term, 8-week contract to support updates to existing factory and production floor layouts. This is a hands-on drafting role focused primarily on modifying and maintaining existing 2D AutoCAD drawings based on inputs from engineering and operations teams. The work will include updating equipment locations, tool footprints, production areas, clearances, and other changes to existing factory layouts. AutoCAD drafting experience is the primary requirement. Experience with Autodesk Revit is a plus. Required Skills Strong hands-on AutoCAD 2D drafting experience Experience creating or modifying factory, manufacturing, production floor, facility, or equipment layout drawings Ability to work effectively with existing CAD drawings, markups, dimensions, and engineering inputs Experience incorporating equipment footprints, dimensions, and spatial requirements into layouts Strong attention to detail and drawing accuracy Ability to complete drawing updates independently and within project timelines Ability to work onsite in Fremont, CA, 5 days/week Available for an immediate or short-notice start Nice to Have Experience with Autodesk Revit Exposure to 3D CAD or facility modeling tools Familiarity with manufacturing or production environments Basic understanding of equipment clearances, access paths, and material flow Responsibilities Update and maintain existing 2D factory and production floor layouts in AutoCAD Make drawing revisions based on inputs and markups provided by engineering and operations teams Update equipment locations, production areas, workstations, and other layout elements Incorporate equipment/tool footprints, dimensions, spacing, and clearance requirements Support drawing updates related to equipment moves, line changes, and factory reconfigurations Maintain drawing accuracy, revision updates, and as-built documentation Ensure drawings accurately reflect existing and proposed floor layouts Contract Details This is an 8-week contract assignment supporting an immediate factory layout project, with potential for extension depending on project needs.Pay:
