Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Drafter to join our dynamic design and engineering team.

JOB SUMMARY

Prepares layouts and detailed 2D drawings for components, sub-assemblies, and assemblies for aircraft interior furnishings from CATIA models, engineering specifications, verbal instructions, or sketches. Should possess the motivation to complete projects on time and represent the company's core values. Duties Performs some combination of the following: Prepare detailed drawing packages of components, sub-assemblies, and assemblies for aircraft interior furnishings including notes and bills of material. CATIA is primarily used for 2D drafting; occasionally AutoCAD may be used. Able to follow the company's drafting standards Verify quantities, materials, dimensions, and drawing notes Revise drawings as required, including preparation of the associated Engineering Change Notice (ECN) Skills Ability to successfully handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience in understanding a variety of manufacturing processes including composites forming, CNC machining, stampings, sheet metal forming, and thermoforming. Knowledge of related software including CATIA, AUTOCAD,and WindChill PLM Education A High School Diploma is required. A two-year college (associate degree) or Trade/Technical School is desired.
