Responsibilities Deliver piping design services that meet Worley, its customers', and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget. Develop and prepare piping design deliverables in support of project requirements. Perform piping design services such as: Participate in relevant meetings, prepare progress reports, and follow required checking and quality control procedures. Ensure the project scope is clear and that design changes comply with project change management processes. Provide support during procurement, construction, and commissioning activities through preparation of design deliverables and resolution of design-related issues. Develop and maintain 3D models, equipment layouts, piping arrangements, isometrics, and construction drawings. If required, act as the Lead Piping Designer on specific projects.

If responsible for a team:

Outline project requirements, assign tasks, supervise progress, and actively promote workshare where appropriate. Ensure the required services meet Worley, customer, and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, on time and within budget. Proactively resolve discrepancies between Worley and customer requirements. Keep up to date with the latest developments, software applications, and technical innovations in piping design. Assist and support junior designers and drafting personnel as required. Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including customers, engineering disciplines, project management, procurement, and construction teams. Identify issues and problems, develop practical solutions, and seek assistance when required. a { text-decoration: none; color: #464feb; } tr th, tr td { border: 1px solid #e6e6e6; } tr th { background-color: #f5f5f5; } What You Will Bring Technical/Industry Experience and Qualifications Requirements Strong technical and practical piping design skills with the ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate, and timely work to Worley and its customers. Sound knowledge of the fundamental principles of piping design and drafting practices. Understanding of the basic requirements of other engineering disciplines and their interfaces with piping design. Knowledge of applicable local and international codes, standards, statutory, and regulatory requirements. Proficient in piping design software such as: AutoCAD Plant 3D CADWorx SmartPlant 3D (SP3D)

E3D/PDMS

Other industry-standard piping design software Competent use of Microsoft Office Suite. Substantial practical experience in piping design within the petrochemical, refining, oil and gas, or related industries. Experience working in multi-disciplinary project environments and teams. Preferred Experience 3 to 5 years of piping design experience. At least 3 to 5 years supporting petrochemical and refining projects through design, execution, and construction phases. On-site and/or refinery experience. Refinery experience. Oil and Gas industry experience. Additional Information This role is located in the Worley Long Beach, California office and is not eligible for remote work .

Salary Hourly Range:

$36.78 - $54.08 , commensurate with experience and level of position.

E3D/PDMS.

Familiarity with field verification, as-built documentation, and coordination with construction teams. Strong understanding of industry standards, design practices, and multi-discipline project execution.
