Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Life Insurance, 401(k), Retirement Plan, Paid Time Off We are seeking a SolidWorks Designer to create detailed models, layouts, drawings, and sketches using SolidWorks and AutoCAD. This role will work closely with Project Managers and customers to develop accurate, manufacturable designs while supporting projects from concept through completion.Job Duties:
Create 3D models, layouts, drawings, and sketches using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.Verify parts, sub-assemblies, and assemblies can be manufactured using available equipment.Work with Project Managers to estimate design and drafting requirements and develop design concepts.
Create and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs).Enter project data into ERP systems.
Communicate with customers regarding project requirements as needed.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience with SolidWorks 3D Modeling and AutoCAD 2D required.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, weld symbols, GD&T, and surface finishes.
Strong mechanical and analytical skills.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Experience developing accurate Bills of Materials.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ERP/MRP systems, and planning/scheduling tools.
