Job Description

Job Description The Drafter/Designer will be responsible for creating and maintaining detailed mechanical, electro-mechanical, printed circuit, and assembly drawings in support of engineering and manufacturing activities. Working from layouts, specifications, and engineering instructions, this individual will develop detail drawings, assembly drawings, schematics, logic diagrams, and wiring diagrams while ensuring compliance with DoD drawing standards and applicable military specifications. The role requires applying drafting and basic engineering principles to support manufacturable designs, implementing engineering changes and revisions, interpreting customer and vendor drawings, and recommending appropriate materials, processes, and procedures. The Drafter/Designer will collaborate with engineering teams to obtain technical information, ensure drawing accuracy and completeness, and support the development of manufacturing and fabrication documentation as needed. Compensation for this role ranges from $40/hr to $58/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access.
