Painted Post, New York job type: Contract salary: $38.26 - 53.57 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: High School responsibilities: Develop complete 3D mechanical designs and drawings using SolidWorks for custom equipment, fixtures, tooling, and manufacturing systems.

Manage BOMs, part specifications, and revisions within SolidWorks PDM while specifying standard hardware and commercial components.

Interface with procurement and external suppliers to specify, quote, and source mechanical parts and fabricated equipment.

Perform hands-on prototype assembly, fit-up, and troubleshooting (50% of role) to test design intent and refine equipment performance.

Collaborate in design reviews with cross-functional teams and vendors to resolve technical issues and deliver production-ready systems.
