We are seeking an experienced Electrical Drafting Technologist to support pipeline and facility engineering projects for our client in Duluth, MN. This is a great opportunity for an experienced AutoCAD professional who has worked in oil & gas, pipelines, terminals, industrial facilities, or similar environments and is comfortable taking engineering concepts, field redlines, and existing drawings through to accurate IFC and As-Built deliverables. What You'll Do Develop, revise, and maintain engineering drawings using AutoCAD Produce and update electrical, instrumentation, piping, and mechanical drawings Convert field redlines, site markups, photos, and engineering documentation into accurate final drawings Develop and update P&IDs, plot plans, facility layouts, equipment drawings, and related engineering documentation Support preparation of Issued for Construction (IFC) and As-Built drawing packages Maintain drawing revisions, document control, and accurate project records Review drawings for accuracy and compliance with established drafting standards Work closely with engineers, project managers, operations, maintenance, and field teams Help resolve discrepancies when field information or engineering inputs are incomplete Support multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced engineering environment

What We're Looking For Required:

5+ years of drafting experience within the oil & gas industry Strong proficiency with AutoCAD Experience supporting electrical and instrumentation drawings Experience working across multiple engineering disciplines, including mechanical and piping Experience with P&IDs, plot plans, facility layouts, and equipment drawings Ability to interpret field redlines, site photos, markups, and engineering documentation Strong attention to detail and drawing accuracy Ability to independently manage multiple projects and deadlines Why Consider This Role?
