Job Description

Job Overview This is a multi-functional role dealing with diverse engineering needs, including the ability to gather requirements, generate specification documents, interface with contract manufacturers and internal personnel to create custom mechanical designs needed for the system.
The role will include:
Generating custom mechanical drawings and designs and Bill of Materials Designing/modelling /prototyping mechanical system components for test and measurement solutions Traveling as needed (possibly up to 25%) domestically and abroad in support of project objectives
Required:
BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics. Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience in a mechanical drafting role. Highly proficient with 3 to 5 years of experience in CREO, with in-depth knowledge of 2D and 3D design tools including CREO, Pro/E, and SolidWorks. Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), detailed drawing development, and design documentation. Successful history of working with external suppliers, plus excellent oral and written communication skills.
Pay:
$28.00 - $31.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
