• Full-time Berlon Industries, located in Hustisford, WI, is a leading manufacturer and distributor of buckets and attachments for skid steers, is looking for an individual in our Product and Manufacturing Engineering areas.

Nonexempt Base Compensation :

$29 to $31 per hour

Position Summary:

Assist in the design and prepare technical drawings, DXF, 3-D models, and other support material for the Engineering team using SolidWorks, Excel, and Acrobat. Execute assigned design or drafting duties supporting manufacturing and product development. Assist in prototype assembly and testing. May also assist in First Article Inspections.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Prepare models and technical drawings for new products, manufacturing fixtures, and product changes follow engineering specifications.
• Process Engineering Change Requests to update drawings
• Measure parts during inspection when needed
• Prepare equipment manuals and other documentation
• Collaborate with Engineering team during brainstorming or troubleshooting sessions
• Assist in product and manufacturing research when needed
• Additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• AS Degree in Mechanical Design or equivalent based on experience
• 1-4 years professional experience in mechanical design
• Minimum of 2,000 hours in SolidWorks or other CAD system
• Excellent working knowledge of computer systems: MS office, Adobe, BOM and Routings.
• Ability to produce quality engineering drawings.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
