As a Plant Issue Resolution Engineer, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting Vehicle Engineering, Quality, Supplier Quality, and Operations teams. $77/hour + Benefits What's the Job? Lead triage, containment, and resolution planning of issues identified during general assembly and end-of-line testing across various vehicle systems. Define and execute short-term containment actions, including rework plans, part quarantine, and build flow protection. Collaborate cross-functionally to conduct root cause analysis across design, process, supplier, and manufacturing domains, and drive improvements. Support prototype builds, production trials, and engineering changes to validate fixes and enhance manufacturability. Develop and maintain metrics, dashboards, and reporting to monitor issue health, closure rates, and recurrence, improving processes. What's Needed? B.S. or M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field. 6-8 years of experience in automotive OEMs, robotics, aviation, or complex hardware systems within manufacturing or product engineering environments. Strong understanding of vehicle systems such as door systems, latches, actuators, sealing, access panels, glazing, and body structures. Proven experience leading root cause analysis and corrective actions in production or field environments, including new product launch support. Excellent cross-functional communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment. What's in it for me?
